Here is another place Edible Glitter™ can go that other sprinkles can’t. Edible Glitter™ can be used in a lollipop or hard candy, where regular sprinkles would just melt. Basically, hard candies are made by melting a sugar mixture, and then pouring that molten sugar into a mold where it sets into a hard candy or a lollipop. If you used something like colored sugar or Jimmies as sprinkles, and mixed it into the melted sugar, they would just melt into the liquid sugar. Edible Glitter™ in contrast will not melt into the sugar. It stays intact, so it is really cool-looking in hard candies. Imagine clear lollipops with sparkles inside. You can’t do that with colored sugar or sprinkles!
